7gypsies Wanderlust collection is a journey to vintage architectural, ephemera, labels and sayings piecespersonalized toys, where each one distictively says something unique. A colllection that is not only about travel, but a focus on the destination whether it be to a place or to new ways.

Crew member, Barbara Housner took pieces of the collection featuring doors and windows to make these stunning ATCs.

“;I love to make ATC’;s and put different layers on them –; little bits and pieces of things. ATCs are little pieces of art work. All 5 have corresponding elements on each of them but the focal point is different.”; –; says Barbara about her small project.

Tools used:Glue Gun Staples and Stapler Silhouette Cameo

Step 1 –; Cut piece of scrap lightweight chipboard into 5 ATC’;s (2.5 x 3.5 inches)

Step 2? –; Take scraps of paper from the Wanderlust pad and cover the chipboard adhering the paper with gel medium.

Step 3 –; Fuss cut the images of doors and windows from a page in the Wanderlust pad.

Step 4 –; Rub black ink along the edges of the ATC bases and the focal points.

Step 5 –; Tear pieces of fluted kraft paper to put on the front of the ATCs.

Step 6 –; Use die cut machine to cut a leaf branch from black cardstock.

Step 7 –; Tear a strip of canvas and pull thread from the canvas so the thread could be used for an embellishment.

Step 8 –; Work out the layout with the thread and die cut leaf stem.

Step 9 –; Cut a small piece off the canvas strip, fold in half, and staple to the top of the ATC.

Step 10 –; Paint the Ivory paint on the fluted cardboard. Put all the layers on the ATC using your glue gun.

Choose from a variety of designs of papers, tags and ephemera to make your own ATCs or use them in your next vintage project. Combine the 7gypsies Wanderlust collection with the papers and pieces of the 7gypsies Ordre du jour and make your next masterpiece.

Happy Hump Day, my home decor loving friends! We’re beginning to think HGTV Magazine is a little stencil smitten for Cutting Edge Stencils;?and we’ve got to say, we certainly do not mind the recent attention!? It feels like it was only yesterday that we were giddy with glee over our Zamira Stencil and then our? Trellis Allover Stencil being featured in the new HGTV series Power Broker.? We were barely coming off our stunning stencil high when we opened the September issue of? HGTV Magazine to find not one but TWO of our very versatile stencils: the Herringbone Allover and Indian Inlay Furniture Stencil Kit!? Their September issue is just packed to the brim with awesome DIY projects that are easy and affordable.? Now we’ve managed to put this issue down just long enough to come give you the 411 on what they’ve said about us this time!

This handy zip pouch can be carried on its own or stashed inside her giant tote.

When it comes to presents, we all know it’s what’s inside that counts. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t have fun with what’s on the outside!Rather than covering your gifts with plain paper or stuffing them into simple gift bags, why not get creative with your wrapping?
