Today I wanted to show you this fun Farm Fresh Milk sign that I made from an old shutter that I picked up at an antique shop!? I used milk paint to paint the background and then created a custom stencil with the words –; Farm Fresh Milk on my Silhouette? Cameo.? Here’;s how it turned out!

I grew up on a 200 acre dairy farm in rural Pennsylvania, and I do have a fondness for vintage farmhouse items in home decor. ?At the time, I hated my life. ?None of my girlfriends had to do the yucky and hard work that I didpersonalized gifts for kids, but now I appreciate it. ?It gave me a good work ethic and one I feel is lacking somewhat in today’;s society. ?Here’;s a picture of the farm from, I’;m guessing here, the 1940’;s. ?My grandparents purchased the farm and my dad was born in the main house in 1930!

A few weeks ago I was at work and the wine & gift boutique down the street from our shop began tossing out boxes of “damaged” items. Thirty-five bars of chardonnay soap nicely boxed and tossed out because they no longer had labels. At first thought, these soaps would be an easy DIY project and a great addition to our Welcome Bags. The wine fragranced soap also coordinated with our gifted wine bottles which tie it all together!
